Nordic Tour will kick off from Helsinki on 25.–26. March. The top name for the meet will be Henrik Christiansen from Norway. He won men’s 800 meters freestyle last year in Helsinki and topped his high perfomance again last summer earning silver medal from World Championships in Gwangju. He has a huge record of 7.41,28 which makes him the third fastest European of all time. In addition Christiansen has silver and bronze medals from short course Worlds, and in total five European Championships medals.

The 23 years old Christiansen represents Lambertseter Svømmeklubb from Oslo. He has beaten Tokyo Olympics A-standard by more than 13 second on 800 meters freestyle which is a new event in Olympics. In Rio de Janeiro 2016 he finished eighth in the final of men’s 1500 meters freestyle.
